JAZZ PIANIST

Bobby is one of Chicago's premiere jazz pianists. His formal training at an early age in classical performance and composition laid the groundwork for a professional career that began in college. His more than 40 years playing in a variety of bands and venues, with greats like Mel Torme and Peggy Lee, ensures a rich and musically engaging sound from his keyboard.

Some signature jazz pianists that have made the greatest impression on Bobby's playing are Bill Evans, Oscar Peterson and Gene Harris. You will no doubt hear their influence in his soaring improvisations with the Bobby Schiff Jazz Trio or accompanying popular vocalists on the Chicago jazz scene.

Bobby is available for solo work as well as leading his jazz trio or quartet. He is one of the most in demand accompanists to Chicago's most popular saloon and club singers.
